| To keep the memory of Cliff Vail alive, "Cliffstock" is held every year to keep a tradition that began with Cliff and his friends. At the end of the summer of 1999, before Cliff and his friends returned to college, Cliff hosted a picnic at his house with food and live music. He and some friends had been to Woodstock earlier in the summer so to family and friends the party became known as "Cliffstock." A group of those friends who attended the party, and are part of this committee, want to commemorate the occasion each summer by continuing "Cliffstock". The idea has grown from a picnic with family and friends to a celebration in his memory for the town that he loved and was so proud to be a part of. | At "Cliffstock", we will also remember the life and friendship of Beth Ann Scalzo. Beth was a dedicated friend and an unforgettable person. She graduated from Dunellen High School in the class of 2000 with honors and was a dedicated and talented athlete. Beth touched the lives of many people, in and out of Dunellen, and her smile could brighten anyone's day. She was one of the best individuals to come into our lives and her memory will live in our hearts forever. |
